Week 3 Blog

 As we all know, technology has played a huge role in advancing all things in the classroom. Students are able to reach their education on a completely different level due to their ability to have answers and resources at the tips of their fingertips. Even with my own daughters, my husband and I challenge them regularly to take control of their own learning through their phones. They will ask us questions, and we will say how do you think you could go about finding the answer to that question. We want them to take ownership of their own education and want them to want to learn new things. When learners are motivated to learn, they will be more engaged in the process and they will do the work on their own. This approach teaches my daughters and hopefully other learners in the world today to be problem solvers and to use higher level thinking and creativity to their approaches of learning.
